Do you hate your body? Or wish if you could just change this one thing? Well, whether you feel you are too fat or just not something enough – everyone feels like there’s something they’d like to change about their bodies.

Yet there are lots of reasons to appreciate even cherish the body you have. For one thing, accepting yourself is a lot more fun, and wastes away less time, than constantly obsessing over what you don’t like, don’t have, or want to ‘fix.’ Your body is yours, uniquely yours, to use, take care of, and to treasure.

Read the below tips and learn how to appreciate yourself.

What Are You Missing?
What do you miss out on when you don’t accept your body and treat it well? What has it cost you so far? Aside from the physical and mental health risks, think about all the things you refrain from doing, trying, being. Think about all the people you don’t meet, the cool things you never experience, when you let a pesky negative body image stand in your way.

Who You Admire?
List who you admire, or people you recognize as having made a difference in your life, or in the world. Likely your list is chock full of smart, kind, creative, inventive, funny, talented, self-confident people. And just fix yourself because you are definitely a couple of those things yourself.

Stop Talking About Yourself
Every time you disparage yourself somebody is listening. Literally, your body ‘hears’ what you say and your negative feelings are reinforced and further internalized. So knock off all your comments that pop in your mind.

Don’t Go By Publicity
The objective of publicity is not to inform, serve, guide or help you, but it is to make money. Don’t define yourself by arbitrary, external dictates. Instead, work on developing your own style. Have fun. Wear something weird. Or don’t. Do what feels right, and you won’t go wrong.

Change Your Focus
Why focus on what you don’t like when you could just as easily focus on what you do like? Get busy by talking to a friend or playing a vigorous game of volleyball to make you forget about your silly ole appearance. Change your focus, and you’ll soon see a change in how you feel.

You want your body to glow and for that you will try Body Polishing, skin treatments and a loads of way to get towards wearing that beauty mask on yourself.

Tanning treatment will help in turning your skin golden brown in a fraction of the time that it would take you to do it naturally. There are various kinds of tanning treatment but their aim is the same, to make you look as though you have been sunbathing. It’s a healthier way to do it than planting yourself in the sun for hours at a time.

Is Tanning Treatment Good?

Most of us feel an urge to sit and bask in the sun in the summer. The sun and its Ultra Violet rays can be really good for us: the light and warmth can make us feel relaxed and sensual; it can increase the release of endorphins, UV rays also help our bodies to produce Vitamin D, which is necessary for healthy bones and healing scar tissue; it also helps improve blood flow.

But there’s a difference between the sun and tanning. Sun can be good; tanning in the sun is less good. If you lie out tanning in the sun, you’re vulnerable to burns and skin cancer. Getting a natural tan these days is a risk. Yet, despite repeated attempts by doctors and the fashion industry to bring in bone-white-skin chic, we still tend to think that everyone looks better with a tan.

Tips to consider for self tanning:

Scrub away the dead flaky skin first before applying any self tanning products. This way, you can avoid a patchy finish.

Apply a generous amount of body lotion over the area you intend to treat with tanning products. This will prevent any drying and will create a smooth surface for the application of tanning lotions.

Work the product well into your skin. It should feel completely dry and there should be no excess product left.

After applying self tanner, wipe off areas that don’t normally tan like the armpits, soles of feet and fingers. Use a damp cotton wool pad or cotton balls for this. Also wipe off the area around your eyebrows, hairline and jawline.

A body polish is a spa treatment which exfoliates the skin on your body leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, moisturized and soft. A rough product is rubbed vigorously, and massaged across and into your skin, and is then rinsed away to reveal a moisturized layer of fresh, clean and smooth skin.

While Tanning Treatment may help your skin but a good body polish forms the basis of other body treatments. It prepares your skin for an even tan. It opens the pores and wakens the skin before a wrap or mud treatment. The oils used can relax or stimulate your senses ready for any similarly-focused treatment that you might be having afterwards.

At the start of every season, shed your cocoon and come clean, baby-smooth and evenly radiant, all over, naturally. The latest scrubs are laced with natural ingredients like salt, pomegranate and sugar to make your body smell as yummy as it looks.

Scrub or polishing products usually include an oily base which moisturizes and soothes your skin as it is scrubbed. A scrub can be really invigorating as well, and improve the circulation of blood and lymph to the surface of the skin, helping to fight cellulite and improve your skin tone. A body scrub will exfoliate your skin, sloughing off dead skin cells and rubbing away hard and flaky skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.

Tips to Polish your body

Your skin will shed faster and more evenly if you polish when it’s dry.

Stand in a bath tub and use your hands not a loofah or sponge to massage a body scrub product into the skin with circular motions. Choose a scrub with granules suspended in essential oils and moisturizer base for moisturizing and conditioning as you scrub.

Let the scrub stay on 3-5 minutes before you rinse it off completely with pleasantly warm water.

Leaving the skin slightly damp while you dry your body. Slather on a body cream, lotion or oil.

Repeat the whole process 2-3 times a week. For sensitive or super-dry skin, limit to once a week.
